Venerable Phil Baker
Ven. Philip Baker is a fully ordained Buddhist monk, living in Arizona. He has been a practicing Buddhist for 20 years, and has been ordained for 15 years. His teachers include Geshe Michael Roach, Lama Zopa Rinpoche, Rilbur Rinpoche, Geshe Jampa Gyatso, and His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. Ven. Phil attended the 7-year Buddhist Masters Program taught by Geshe Jampa Gyatso in Pomaia Italy. Today Ven. Phil teaches both Asian Classics Institute courses and Diamond Mountain tantric courses in Arizona, Peru and Germany. He is also active in the Asian Classics Input Project efforts in preserving, cataloging, and translating ancient Buddhist texts.
John E.O.
John Elliott Oyzon graduated from the University at Buffalo Suma Cum Laude with a degree in Dance Choreography and Stage Acting. He was fortunate enough to have been a working performer in the great city of New York for over a Decade. He has performed with the American treasure of clowning, Bill Irwin, In the off-Broadway spectacle De La Guarda from Argentina, and in the Disney Broadway production of Tarzan. He was also a touring member of the hit show STOMP. He has an extensive background in physical theater and has been blessed to study with Masters: Martin Inn, in Tai chi, Mestre Urubu Milandro in Capoeira, and Elias K. Oyzon (his father) in Tae Kwon Do. He has also studied ethnic dance, specifically from the countries of Brazil, West Africa, and Haiti. He is currently the head recording engineer at Epicentre Recording in downtown Phoenix.

Anatole Nguyen received his first yoga certification from Bikram and Rajashree Choudhury and continued to study with Shri Dharma Mittra, teaching and assisting at Dharma Yoga Center in NYC. A martial artist for seventeen years, he completed a six year advanced Buddhist studies program at Diamond Mountain with Geshe Michael Roach and Lama Christie McNally. Known for his vibrant, intuitive teaching style, Anatole has taught extensively in New York, Arizona and around the world.

Mercedes Bahleda
Mercedes Bahleda graduated with honors from New York University with a degree in Performing Arts. She went on to create, act and direct theater shows that toured and perform in over 60 theaters in Paris, Germany, Switzeland, Austria and Italy. Her companies work has been recognized by the New York Foundation of the Arts, Lincoln Center Archives, was a recipient of the Bessie Award, and was honored with government grants in Europe. She also worked extensively on the stage in New York City and was a member of the infamous Black Lips Performance Cult under the direction of Antony Heggarty and Big Dance Theater under direction of Paul Lazar of the Wooster Group.
In the Theater Ensemble we will work with group excercizies and show, as well as dream recollection and memory, to explore each persons own theaterical story, bringing it to life in a supportive enviroment of creative friends.
